On behalf of our client, a global leader in specialised technical services, we are seeking a talented and meticulous Commercial Analyst to join their dedicated team in Wokingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded individual with exceptional analytical skills to play a pivotal role in a department focused on maximising revenues and delivering significant cost savings. You will be the go-to expert for technical issues, providing crucial support across the business.

  • Liaise and negotiate directly with suppliers to seek clarification, challenge unjustified decisions, and secure financial credits.
  • Maintain the integrity of crucial data within the company’s systems, including the Shop Processing Time database.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, such as Strategic Sourcing, to ensure the enforcement of contract guarantees.
  • Support the department manager with a broad range of technical projects designed to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

You’ll be a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with experience in a commercially focused, data-driven environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • At least two years of experience in a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with strong skills in analysing and interpreting substantial datasets.
  • Proven experience reading and interpreting complex commercial contracts to extract pertinent information that supports financial claims.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to build rapport and manage relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Experience in a customer or supplier-facing role, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organisational levels.
  • A focused and methodical approach to managing your workload, with strong time management skills and an ability to prioritise effectively.
  • A resourceful individual who uses their initiative and has a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • A passion for or experience in a technical services or engineering-focused industry is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of service agreements from major equipment manufacturers would be a distinct advantage.

What’s on Offer

In return, our client offers a competitive salary and the opportunity for continuous learning and professional development. You will join a supportive team within a company that values building strong partnerships and operating with integrity.

If you are a resourceful and analytical individual with the skills outlined above, please apply now to be considered for this exciting opportunity.
