We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our client’s team!

As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing web applications while following good coding practices. You will report progress to the senior team, write software documentation, and design web systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior team and business web developers to identify the features of the applications and build the specifications document, considering the different use cases and future use of the application.
• Write readable and reusable source code that adheres to general web standards and company standards, while being consistent in the way the company writes code. Develop both front-end and back-end source code, troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software.
• Provide strong verbal and written communication to clients and internal teams, including status reports, assignment reports, and meeting agendas.
• Ensure all documentation produced and filed in line with company procedures and client confidentiality expectations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Competent with PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS 3+, JavaScript and Laravel.
• Demonstrated experience using PHP.
• Competent in both backend and frontend scripting.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, well-designed, and reusable code.

Desirable:

• Experience with PHP MVC-based Framework (ideally Zend Framework 2+).
• Familiar with Bootstrap 3+.
• Familiar with JQuery, AJAX.
• Familiar with Git.
• Familiar with Linux.
